Tariq: every driver’s route, in order, in seconds.

Enter the day’s orders with their locations, and Tariq shares them out among your drivers and puts each driver’s stops in order. Then it follows deliveries and cash with you until the end of the day. Built for courier companies in Iraq.

Delivery by phone call and paper is expensive.

Most courier companies run their drivers by phone and chat messages, and lose time, fuel and cash every day.

  • One to two hours every morning planning routes by hand.
  • No way to know where a driver is, or which orders have arrived.
  • Cash written down on paper, so mistakes happen and reconciling takes the evening.
  • No photo and no signature when a customer disputes a delivery.

What Tariq does

One platform for the route, tracking, cash and proof of delivery. Everything on this list is in every plan.

Routes

Route optimisation
Shares the orders out among the drivers and puts each driver’s stops in order in seconds, with the Google OR-Tools solver.
Iraq’s real roads
Distances from Iraq’s road network, with Baghdad’s rush hours taken into account.
Delivery windows
Each order has its time: morning, afternoon or evening, and the route keeps to it.
Adjust by hand
Drag a stop and drop it to change its place after optimising.
Arrival times
An expected arrival time for every stop.
Live tracking
Your drivers on a live map, and how far along each route is.

The driver

On their phone
The driver opens it in the phone’s browser and adds it to the home screen, with no app store.
Without internet
Updates are kept on the phone and sent when the connection is back.
Proof of delivery
A photo from the phone’s camera and the customer’s signature at every delivery.
Barcode scanning
Scan the parcel’s barcode with the camera to find the order at once.
Reason for a failure
Every delivery that did not happen is recorded with its reason.
Next stop, read aloud
The app reads the next stop aloud in Arabic.

An illustration, not a picture of a real account.

Cash and reports

Cash on delivery
What each driver has collected, in dinars, updated through the day.
End-of-day reconciliation
Mark the cash each driver has handed in, and print the reconciliation sheet.
Reports
Deliveries, success rate, cash collected and each driver’s performance, daily and monthly.
Failure analysis
Where and when deliveries fail, from the data of your past days.

Orders and customers

Entering orders
By hand, or by uploading an Excel or CSV file, Arabic column names included.
Recurring orders
Daily or weekly deliveries created by themselves on schedule.
A tracking link for the customer
The customer follows the order by its number or barcode, with no login.
Delivery rating
The customer rates the delivery once it is made.

Company and team

Four roles
Owner, operations manager, accountant and driver, each seeing what their role allows.
Team invitations
Invite the members of your team by email.
Branches and zones
Several branches and warehouses, each with its own zone on the map.
Audit log
A log that keeps who did what, and when.
Data kept apart
Each company’s data is separate from every other’s, with a daily backup.
Arabic and English
The interface in both languages, with Arabic right to left.

Questions we get

Do drivers need to download an app?

No. A driver opens Tariq in the phone’s browser and adds it to the home screen like any app, with no app store.

What if a driver loses the internet?

They keep working. Their updates are kept on the phone and sent by themselves when the connection is back.

How do I enter the day’s orders?

By hand, or by uploading an Excel or CSV file. Tariq understands Arabic column names, and there is a ready template in the platform.

Can anyone else see my company’s data?

No. Each company’s data is kept apart from every other’s, and each member of your team has a role that decides what they see. Drivers see only their own orders.

What happens after the free trial?

You choose the plan that fits the number of your drivers and carry on with the same data. To subscribe, contact us. If you need longer, we extend the trial by one more month on request.

Can Tariq run on a server in our own company?

Yes. Tariq has an edition you install on a Windows computer in your company, with its own database. Contact us and we will agree the details.

Is it in Arabic?

Yes. In Arabic, right to left, and in English too, and you switch between them with one tap.
