  2. About us

A software house from Iraq, since 2009.

Codeator was founded in Iraq in 2009. Today we build websites, online stores, business systems, SaaS platforms, apps and games, and host and support them, from Baghdad and Berlin.

Seventeen years of building software, and a new chapter in 2026.

Codeator was founded in Iraq in 2009, with a logo of a cube made of close-fitting blocks, circled by two rings. We know this market and its rhythm: Arabic first, selling in dinars and buying in dollars, and businesses that grow one branch and one system at a time.

In 2026 we redrew our identity. The name, the cube and the two rings stayed, and the lines became simpler.

Today we are a software house in Baghdad and Berlin. We build websites, online stores, business systems, SaaS platforms, apps and games, and we host and look after what we build. Odoo for holding companies remains one of our specialities.

Five commitments we bring to every project.

We set them out here in plain language, so you know what to expect from us before we begin.

  1. We understand the work before we write the code.

We start with how your business runs and what the software has to do, and design it from there.

  2. We agree the scope in writing.

Pages, features, stages and dates are written down before we build, so both sides know what is coming.

  3. You see working software early.

We build in stages, and each stage ends with something you can open and try.

  4. Arabic comes first.

Screens, pages and guides written for Arabic readers, with right-to-left done properly and English beside them wherever you need it.

  5. We stay after launch.

We host, secure and update what we build, and we are there when it needs to change.

On Odoo projects, we work with the Sanarise network.

Sanarise is a network of independent companies that build the digital infrastructure of organizations in the region. On Odoo projects for holding companies, Codeator works with the network and draws on its experience in multi-company Odoo.

What that means for your Odoo project

  • A team of our own. You work with the Codeator team directly, in your language, from the first conversation to support after launch.
  • Wider experience. We draw on the network’s experience in multi-company Odoo, so your project benefits from what similar projects have taught.
  • Clear independence. Every company in the network is independently owned and operated.

Independent companies of different sizes, linked by rings of shared experience. The cube with the two rings is Codeator.

Writing was born here.

At Uruk, more than 5,000 years ago, scribes pressed some of the first written records into tablets of wet clay: grain and livestock, counted and kept. We think of that whenever we write software for a business. The tool has changed from clay to code, and the need is the same: records that everyone trusts.
