  2. Custom & desktop software

Custom software shaped around how you work, on the web or on Windows.

When ready-made software does not fit, we build a system around your own process: web applications your team uses in the browser, and Windows programs where a PC, a printer or a card reader is part of the job. Codeator Klobs, which runs an Iraqi hunting club’s membership cards, subscriptions and access, is one of them.

Who it is for

Organisations whose work no software package quite covers.

  • Work that runs on spreadsheets

A process kept in Excel and on paper, moved into one system with its rules built in.

  • Organisations with their own way of working

Clubs, schools, workshops and offices whose process a package does not fit.

  • Desks with devices

Card printers, readers, gates and cashier stations, driven from one program.

  • Systems that should talk to each other

Software that connects what you already run, so data is typed once.

What you get

A system that follows your work.

  • Built on your processScreens and rules that follow how your team already works.
  • Web or desktopIn the browser for teams in many places, on Windows where the job needs a PC and its devices.
  • Printing and devicesID cards, receipts and reports printed from the system; readers and gates connected to it.
  • Roles and recordsEach user sees what they should, and every change is recorded.
  • ReportsThe figures management asks for, without copying data by hand.
  • Training and supportYour team trained on the system, and we stay with it as it grows.

How we work

The same four stages as every project, shaped for a system of your own.

  1. 1

    Understand

We sit with the people who do the work and map the process as it really runs.

  2. 2

    Plan

Screens, rules, reports and devices, written down and agreed.

  3. 3

    Build

In stages, each one a working part your team can try.

  4. 4

    Host & support

Installed on your PCs or hosted by us, and updated as the work changes.

Questions we are asked

A web application or a desktop program: which do we need?

A web application if your team works from different places; a desktop program if the work happens at a PC with a printer, a card reader or another device attached. Some systems need both, and we can build them to share one database.

Can you work with the devices we already have?

Usually, yes. We check the models first, then connect them: card printers, readers, gates or cashier stations.

Can our old data come across?

Yes. We move the data you keep in spreadsheets or an old program, check it with your team, and start the new system from it.

Do you train our staff?

Yes. Each person is trained on the part of the system they use.

Tell us about the work you want a system for.

Describe the process as it runs today; that is where we start.
